Andrew Quackenbush is the owner of Bones & Stones Genealogical Services, an Ontario-based genealogical research and writing service.

His work focuses on locating and interpreting historical records and answering family history research questions by presenting evidence in a clear and understandable format. Projects use online image collections and archival documents, including land and probate records, church registers, vital records, newspapers, military sources, court records, maps, and local histories.

Andrew approaches each project with careful attention to source quality, historical context, conflicting evidence, and transparent documentation. Research reports explain both what was found and what was searched without success. Writing projects aim to bring ancestors’ experiences to life without going beyond the evidence.
