Services at no cost

• Initial consultation to discuss the work you would like done
• Review of materials provided by you before work begins on a report or narrative
• Time spent reviewing the location and potential sources available for the task requested

Product fees (reports, etc.)

• determined on a case-by-case basis depending on project size and location
• typically $80/hour in Canadian currency, reduced for projects exceeding four hours
• minimum time is one hour, client sets maximum time for project
• thorough reports of narrow scope may require at least four hours
• no charges are incurred prior to signing an agreement
• document images are provided at no cost unless repository charges or travel is necessary

Document retrieval only

• If a search is not needed (accession numbers are provided), the cost is $20 for the first image, $2 per additional image from the same repository. If applicable, travel costs and repository charges are passed on to the client with agreement in advance.
• If a search is needed, the cost is $40/ hour. If applicable, travel costs and repository charges are passed on to the client with agreement in advance.
